Original J.A. Smith Middle School – Chillicothe, Ohio
Built in 1931 on Arch Street, this beloved Chillicothe landmark originally served as Chillicothe High School. In 1963, it became J.A. Smith Middle School, named in honor of longtime principal John A. Smith. The school closed in 2007 and was later demolished, but its iconic cupola was preserved and relocated to the Chillicothe athletic stadium.
Celebrate Chillicothe with these beautifully engraved Ohio-shaped wooden ornaments, each featuring a detailed sketch of one of the city’s most beloved landmarks. Whether you’re local, gifting to someone who grew up here, or simply love collecting hometown pieces, these ornaments make a meaningful addition to any Christmas tree.
